一応ショッピングカートに入れてあるものの，何を加えてマルチバイにするか思案中・・・。
アルバム・タイトルが "The Southern Soul Story" ではなく "A Southern Soul Story" になっている理由とか，選曲の意図・基準などは，英 ace/KENT のサイト にアップされていて，この CD ３枚組のセットが，Southern Soul という another seminal strand of black American music をより広く一般の人々に紹介することを目的としており，そのために we have also tried to avoid overdosing on the previously unreleased and un-re-released, というのは納得できるのだが，問題は，その後に続く，although several tracks are indeed making their CD debut here.
どうせなら，そういうレアな楽曲は，別にまとめて CD 化してもらいたかった・・・(^_^;)
収録曲をチェックしてみると，手持ちの CD と重複する曲が６４曲もあった。初 CD 化の曲も含めて１１曲を聴くために，この値段で CD を購入するというのは，日ごろ大きな判断基準となっているコストパフォーマンスからすると論外なのだが，写真やライナーで新しい発見がありそうだし，いつも貴重な音源を CD 化してくれていることに対する感謝の気持ちも込めて，近いうちに注文を確定するつもり。

ウィリアム・ベルの名曲から始まるとこに、惹かれてます〜
さらに Southern Soul のリイシューに力を入れてもらうためにも，多少の重複があっても購入する・・・というのが，正しいサザン・ソウル・ファンの姿ではないかと思います・・・(^_^;)
KENTからの気合いの入った三枚組なので、重複は気にせず、
少々資金繰りが厳しくても購入したい所存です。
まあ，一刻も早く聴きたいというわけでもないし・・・(^_^;)
