タイトル曲の "Burning Your Playhouse Down" は Keith Richrads とのデュエット。いかにもキースらしいギターも少しだが聴くことができる。それも含めて，2. 3. 5. 6. 9. 10. 11. は，↓ のアルバムと同じセッションで録音された曲。

新作のバック・ミュージシャンは曲ごとではなく一括表示だったが，↑ にクレジットされているのは，James Burton - Electric Guitar, Emmylou Harris - Acoustic Guitar, Leon Russell - Piano など。
２曲ともキースのボーカルやギターは快調で，ゲスト参加している作品の中では，かなりお気に入り。
この George Jones は，カントリーを聴き始めてから Ronnie Milsap の次くらいに声が気に入っていて，スローなバラードが得意なシンガー。
