　もちろん，オリジナルは O.V. Wright だけれども，ストーンズは明らかに Otis のバージョンを参考にしている。おそらく，'Mr.Pitiful' とのカップリングでリリースされたシングル盤をキースかミックが持っていたのだろう。

↑ のアルバムで 'I Can't Turn You Loose' を選曲しているのはチャーリーで，'That's one of the best brass licks ever written. And given that damn Al Jackson,Jr. in the rhythm section, Otis Redding can't keep still, can he?' とコメントしている。
