明らかに「ブートレッグ」という造りの，おそまつな CD だが，Bobby Bland の貴重なライブ録音。
音質も，予想していたよりはマシ・・・(^_^;)
１９８３年の Long Beach Blues Festival というコンサートで録音されたもの。同じ内容のものが別のパッケージでもリリースされている。

バックのバンドのクレジットなど一切無いけれども，1, Mel's Groove　は，なかなかタイトでファンキーなバンドによる８分超のインスト曲。B.B. King との共演盤に参加し，"Members Only" でも Production Coordination とクレジットされていたサックス奏者の Melvin Jackson のバンドか？　5. のエンディング近くなどで，Melvin Jackson の名前を紹介しているような・・・？

１９８３年ということで，まだ Malaco に移籍する前，MCA に所属していた時期のため，その時代の曲も歌われている。
6. が "I Feel Good, I Feel Fine"，9. は "Here We Go Again" というアルバムの収録曲。

その他は，Duke 時代のおなじみの定番曲ばかり。
海賊盤ではあるものの，音質もそれほど悪くないし Bobby Bland 本人もかなり元気なので，彼のファンならオススメのアルバムです。
